I would like to thank you for helping me organise our tour to New Zealand. We played 9 of the top courses and 5 others that were all fabulous. We played them all in sunshine (with a little wind at times!) and found them fantastic. Oceania provided us with luxury coaches and three of the best drivers we have ever had. Thank you one and all.

Waipoua Forest lies on Northland’s Kauri Coast, between Dargaville and Omapere.

Fast facts:

– Another significant tree in Waipoua Forest is Te Matua Ngahere – ‘Father of the Forest’ – which is estimated to be 2000 years old.

– Well-maintained short walking tracks provide easy access to the most spectacular attractions of Waipoua Forest, including Tane Mahuta, Te Matua Ngahere and the Yakas kauris.

– Longer hiking tracks are available for those who want to venture deeper into the forest, especially into the high plateau and ranges.
